1955 The Anderson's purchase the assets and operating authority of a common carrier that
transports granite monuments and building granite to 20 states. There are two partially usable trucks, five partially usable trailers, and an old wooden warehouse with a 12’ x 12’ office. The staff consists of two drivers, a mechanic, and a dispatcher. The business is incorporated as Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS)
1957 ATS purchases a Minneapolis based carrier, acquiring its first operating authority not related to the granite and stone industry. ATS now transports heavy machinery, contractors and construction equipment, materials and supplies, and size and weight commodities within the states of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin
1957 ATS purchases its first specialized trailer in order to transport over-dimensional and specialized loads
1961 Total Anderson Trucking revenues exceed 1 Million for the first time
1968 ATS acquires the authority to begin serving the iron and steel from points in Illinois to points in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. It is a first step that will later result in the recognition of ATS as a major transporter of iron and steel articles
1979 Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. has grown to 463 employees and independent contractors operating nearly 400 power units and 800 trailers. The company holds more than 275 ICC operating authorities.
1983 ATS starts the Van division with the purchase of Haupt Contract Carriers. The company also updates its logo to reflect its growing national reputation for providing complete service from coast to coast. ATS becomes the first carrier to operate its
own articulated rail cars, providing TOFC and Intermodal service within all 48 contiguous states and Alaska.
1989 Sureway Transportation Company established as the ATS Brokerage Division
1991 Purchased KeyPoint Brokerage Software. Over 300 current users nationwide
1992 Sureway Revenues 2.7 million
1998 Name officially changed to ATS Logistics Services, Inc. retaining the name Sureway Transportation Company as the name dedicated to the Agent Program
2001 Harold Anderson, founder of Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. passed away in November 28
2005 ATS celebrates 50 years of service to our customers. The combined equipment of ATS and its subsidiaries totals over 1900 tractors and 3300 trailers. ATS delivers more than 100,000 loads each year. Purchased McLeod LME software. Over 750 users nationwide. ATS Logistics Services, Inc. produces over $100 Million in sales
2006 Moved to new corporate office, located at 725 Opportunity Drive, St. Cloud, MN
2007 Total Anderson Trucking revenues exceed 770 million

Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. is ranked 39th in Transport Topics "Top 100 for Hire Carriers" ATS Logistics/Sureway revenues exceed 175 million
